Pastor Stephen Schafer
Rev. Stephen Schafer has been our pastor since 1998. Growing up in Miami, FL, he taught in a Lutheran school in Miami following his graduation from the University of Florida. In Miami, he also did youth ministry at the congregational and regional levels. Getting married in 1980 to Ana Julia Valdes, they departed the following year for seminary in St. Louis, Missouri; where he graduated in 1985 from Concordia Seminary. Called to begin a mission congregation in Ocala, Florida, he returned to Florida where he served thirteen years before accepting a call to be our pastor. He has served on District Youth Boards, as Circuit Counselor and Synodical delegate. He is interested in worship, cross-cultural ministries, teaching, telling others about his Savior and when he can, fishing. He wife, Julie teaches Spanish at Baltimore Lutheran School and they have two daughters.

Mrs. Barbara Haar : Minister Of Parish Life
Mrs. Barbara Haar is the Minister of Parish Life (MPL) at St. Paul. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and taught fifth grade at St. Paul School. After taking time off to start a family, she received the call to serve as MPL. This ministry involves the areas of Youth, Education and Discipleship. Barb is especially interested in the area of family ministry.
Barb's other activities include: board member of Redeemer Family Life Center Inc., Professional Church Worker Network Coordinator, LCMS Southeastern District Youth Cabinet member and Circuit #5 Youth Leader Coordinator. She continues to pursue additional training in the fields of leadership, administration, and family ministry.
Barb is married, with three sons. Her husband ,Steve, is a math teacher and technology coordinator at Baltimore Lutheran School
