Health Considerations
St. Paul Lutheran Prescool is not equipped to care for sick children. The admitting teacher is alert to the physical well being of each child on arrival. If any of the following symptoms are observable, the child will not be admitted that day:
- Thick mucous discharge from nose
- Obvious nasal congestion, wheezing
- Sore throat, persistent cough
- Earache
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Evidence of head lice
- Pink eye
- Any obvious sign of a health risk to the other children
A child who becomes ill during the day is isolated with adult supervision, and the parent is notified and requested to come for him/her.
