| Students | I am getting excited about starting a new school year! I hope you are too. Teachers always ask about your summer. I even want to see pictures of your summer activities. If you have not taken any pictures you can draw pictures. Bring these pictures the first day of school. You may also bring them to open house during orientation. |

| Special Events | Orientation is Tuesday, August 21. There will be an open house in each classroom that coincides with orientation. While parents register, students can come to second grade to find their desk and answer my survey about summer activities. I look forward to meeting parents and family members when you have finished the registration process. |
