St. Paul Lutheran School

Enrichment Program

St. Paul will again offer a quality program in an attempt to meet the needs of its working families. Because our program is extended school care and is not to be considered day care, we are unable to operate on days that school is closed or on a half days of school. Parents should be sure to make arrangements for alternative care for these times. When school opens one hour late, the program will start at its regular time. If school opens two hours late, the program will begin one hour late. Please be sure to call the school on these days, to be sure that someone is on duty. For a regular full time Enrichment child there is no reduction in the program fees when the school is closed, child is not in attendance, a child is picked up early, or when a child only attends Enrichment for a portion of the month.

We cannot responsibly watch your child without emergency information. The Enrichment workers need information on ALL children just in case you are a drop in and need emergency help. Everyone who has a child in school will have to provide emergency information on Registration Day.

In an effort to insure continuity of program, safety, and an appropriate child/staff ratio, we will enroll children on a first come, first serve basis, starting with children who will be using the Enrichment program on a regular basis (defined as a child is enrolled to attend the program a specific number of days per week every week). "Drop in Students" (defined as a child who uses the program on a one time emergency basis) will be accepted only if arrangements have not been made with the staff prior to the day that extended care is needed and if that child's enrollment will NOT exceed the maximum enrollment for that day.
